California Travel Association (CalTravel) is the influential, unified voice of California's travel and tourism industry. Its mission is to protect and advance the interests and investments of the industry through advocacy, collaboration, and education. CalTravel has developed an eight-point plan to jumpstart the association's first significant Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative. The action plan seeks to engage CalTravel members by establishing a DEI-focused task force, surveying members to establish DEI goals, sharing educational resources, creating opportunities for future industry leaders, and encouraging members to sign on to the Pledge 25x25 initiative from SVLG.

In 2021 the San Francisco 49ers welcomed Christina Jefferson to the newly created position of Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). A demonstrated changemaker in the DEI field, Jefferson is leading inclusion and diversity efforts across the organization and has implemented several new DEI training programs within the front office while working closely to support each of the team's employee resource groups.

Genentech is a biotechnology company dedicated to pursuing groundbreaking science to discover and develop medicines for people with serious and life-threatening diseases. Their discoveries include the first targeted antibody for cancer and the first medicine for primary progressive multiple sclerosis. Embracing diversity and inclusion (D&I) helps drive innovation, improves scientific and clinical outcomes and contributes to equitable healthcare for all.

Like all technology companies, Western Digital is driven by innovation. To compete in the 21st century, Western Digital must have a well-rounded leadership team representative of the communities working in and serving regionally, nationally, and globally. Through their Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Acceleration plan, they develop underrepresented talent for advancement opportunities. Since 25x25 is not simply a pledge but a movement, they hope that their participation will encourage more companies in Silicon Valley and beyond to commit to increasing executive representation by 25%.  They are also excited to learn from others and discover new ways to think about how they can achieve their equity, inclusion, and diversity goals.
